Mike Jackson epitomizes one of his favorite sayings, "systems over self". Western Louisville has a metamorphosis going on, in great part to Kentucky Greens.
The Hope Wellness Center is purposely located in West Louisville, as this area largely lacks access to quality healthcare. According to the 2017 Louisville Metro Health Equity Report, the life expectancy for West Louisville residents is 12 years less than that of their counterparts in other neighborhoods in the city. Expanding access to healthcare is one weapon in the battle for advancing black lives in Louisville.
