GLOBAL FOOD ALASKA 2009

Global Food Alaska is designed to bring together
The Best Of The Best -buyers, suppliers and their supply chain partners. To accomplish the goals of stronger and better business we have developed an event that is designed for decision makers across the entire supply chain to come together under one roof for 2-full days for the following.
Buyers Conference
(Mornings Day 1 & 2) The buyers have the mike!
Learn the unfiltered truth about what buyers buy now and what will drive them themselves and are invited to speak openly about what and how they buy product. This is one of the most critical components of the 2 day event, as it sets the stage for further work to buy in the future. Buyers introduce throughout the event to collaborate on sourcing solutions.
Showcase/Workplace
(Afternoons Day 1 & 2) Think of a food supply chain from commercial buyers through distribution, transportation, packaging, inspection, processing and harvesting/growing. Now imagine walking into a show floor that depicts these supply chain partners including the suppliers of seafood, snacks, desserts, beer, coffee, produce, dairy, nutraceuticals, bottled water, fertilizers and other products made from the bounty of Alaska's land and marine. Global Food Alaska - 2009 offers local, national and international buyers a comprehensive supply chain solution.

The marketplace also serves as the only place that suppliers and their supply chain partners can strategically connect, communicate and collaborate for stronger business.
Let the deal making begin!
Site Visits
2009 includes local site visits to get a flavor of the areas local production of seafood, agriculture, horticulture and, of course, beer. (See event program and details link above for more information. When registering, please select local site tour option.)
Optional custom trips are available upon request to production areas throughout Alaska. Email us your special requests.
Recognition of Achievement
Join Alaska's harvesters, processors and market partners to recognize outstanding achievement by their peers at a special ceremony. The awards reception is where industry professionals honor and recognize their peers for leadership along Alaska's supply chain of food, beverage and agri products.
Producer / Harvester Dinner:
Enjoy an all Alaskan meal provided by our registered suppliers with their very own products and recipes at the Sockeye Restaurant - the location of the original Libby and Wards Cove Cannery.
