Hawaii Farm Bureau Federation (HFBF) members have gotten a boost from the latest collaboration with Aloha Air Cargo for a special air freight discount program.     The discount provide HFBF members up to 35% off of Aloha Air Cargo freighter service when shipping  locally grown or ‘Made in Hawaii’ packaged products.

In addition, Aloha Air cargo has extended a 20% discount off of general freight shipments and non-perishable products. The program rates will be effective from November 9th, 2009 through December 31, 2010.

The Aloha Air Cargo press release provides a bit more insight into the new partnership.   “We realize that Aloha Air Cargo has the ability to play a significant role in furthering a more sustainable Hawaii,” said Mike Malik, president of Aloha Air Cargo. “By making it easier and cheaper for Hawaii residents to market their goods statewide, it’s a win-win situation for both consumers and the environment.”

In order to sign up, members need to provide the following required information:

• Name (first and last)
• Valid email address
• HFBF Member Number

If you have an existing Aloha Air Cargo Account number (to be used for shipments/bookings) you will be asked for the AAC Account number.

If you do NOT have an account, Aloha Air Cargo will contact you directly for instructions on setting up either a cash or credit based account.
