america'sheartland.jpg

America’s Heartland is the only nationally-broadcast weekly program on agriculture.  This season offers even more informative, in-depth stories about issues important to viewers in both urban areas and rural communities. With a new, faster-paced format, the series’ larger reporting staff travels the country to meet farmers, ranchers and growers. Each High Definition broadcast tells their storiesand personal insights on life in the heartland.

Let's not forget the stories America's Heartland produced right here in Alaska during Season 2.    Or the story produced during Season 3.

Reporters Jason Shoultz, Sarah Gardner, Yolanda Vazquez, Rob Stewart, Paul Robins, Akiba Howard and John Lobertini travel coast-to-coast to provide viewers a better understanding on how American agriculture affects their lives.

In addition, new features like Off the Shelf give viewers information on the food they buy every week; Harvesting Knowledge takes a look at the historical background of our favorite foods; and Working the Land takes urban viewers to America’s farm fields to look at the specialized and sometimes dirty jobs of people working in agriculture.
