The Life Extension Foundation is a nonprofit organization, whose long-range goal is the extension of the healthy human lifespan. LEF's objective is to develop methods to enable people to live in vigor, health and wellness. The Life Extension Foundation was officially incorporated in 1980 and its founder has been involved in anti-aging research since the 1960s.
The February 2009 Issue of Life Extension Magazine features the article specifically addressing the health components of blueberries. It is a compelling story of the latest research demonstrating that scientists are well into clinical trials optimistic of positive correlations to blueberry's anti-oxidant characteristics and possible health applications for such widespread diseases such as breast cancer, osteoporosis, Alzheimers, Parkinsons and more.
It is worthy to note that the marriage between this research and one of the foremost organizations in promoting health (LEF) and now Denali BioTechnologies (the pioneer in nutraceutical research and development in Alaska) can make great contributions to good health and potential disease control or eradication.
